W TN snow

Clarksville Tn had snow. Had about 4 inches on top of the cars and deck. I worked in the garage. No reason to be out in that mess. The kids played with the sled and came in wet and half frozen. Not my type of fun these days.

I was working in Oak Ridge last night. At the beginning of my shift, we had the door propped open to air out the room and the temperature was pleasant. Around 8:00 pm we closed the door. At about 10:00 pm sleet began falling. By 1:10 am snowflakes the size of a half dollar were falling and by 3:00 am there were 3 inches on the ground. I don't remember the last time there was snow in March in the Knoxville area. The drive home was interesting...nothing faster than 45 mph with accumulation on the roads.

By Memphis the roads were quite clear about 10:00 AM. Soon after that I drove to the store for my nib rifle (semi-auto .308: evil black & green! :what:).

At the Huge private gun club MSSA, about 11:30, nobody was on the 50-yard covered range, nor at the others for a while.

Testing this gun's really nice iron sights on Shoot N See targets, I Prefer cold weather o_O, in order:
A) to Be Alone...:).
B) to be Able to go downrange (you switch on red warning beacons) , literally every several shots  to plug the target holes with black or red filler circles.

"Paradise by the muzzle flash....".

Yup, it sucked here too. Just south of Nashville the day was nice and warm and 65 while I’m doing yard work then the wind picked up and an hour later we got little ice balls and another hour and much more cold wind flurries started and by bedtime we had 3”. Crazy weather in a crazy world.
