My older Walker Bluetooth buds died from misuse and I decided to replace them. However I determined that I really didn't have any use for the Bluetooth feature. When I shoot, I shoot. I don't need text messages or phone calls interrupting me and I tried but don't want music while I'm shooting.
So I got the Walker Silencer R600 ver 2.0. A good bit cheaper than the Bluetooth. Of course there's no App since there's no communications. Same recharging case. HOWEVER the user interface (UI) has changed. The outside only has a smooth surface. No "bt" bump for on/off and "+" or "-" bumps. Just a smooth surface. You're suppose to be able to just swipe to change volume.
BUT HOW DO YOU TURN THESE THINGS ON?
The instructions say to just touch the surface for 2 seconds and you'll hear an audible signal. Nada. Nothing. 2 second. 5 seconds. 10 seconds. Nothing. Yes they've been in the charger for 2 days. Red led comes on then goes off after 4 - 5 seconds. Charger is fully charged with blue light on.
Waiting for Walker support to reply, but hoping someone else knows the magic wand wave to make them work.
