I went to Walmart today with a $50 gift card I decided to get a Daisy powerline air rifle some bbs and Rem gun oil for my real guns.
I go up to the counter the man asks for ID I give my driver license he looks at it and says "your too young" and I told him I will turn 18 in 3 days he says it does not matter.
Because of 3 days luckily my grandmother was nearby and the man let me have the pellet gun, bbs, and the gun oil because my grandmother allowed it.
I know its Walmarts policy but three days from turning 18 stops you from purchasing a pellet gun is pretty sad.
17 must be a worthless age if you cant even buy a airgun by yourself but in three days when I turn 18 I can buy airgun, rifles, shotguns, even a pistol through private deal.
There is something really wrong with this country if we have all these high age limits for stuff that is practically a no brainer that it can be dangerous if mishandled but at 16 you can drive a car by yourself but cant buy a airgun by yourself makes no sense.

No Offense, but why would you blame walmart? IF the law is you have to be 18 to buy a BB, what is your issue about.

Heck, you ought to be able to buy a stinkin airgun at 16 years, in my view. I had one at age 12 and up, and I was safe with it (98% anyway :) ).

17 years and 362 days is not 18. Try going to buy a pack of cigarettes next time your out.

Seriously, if you are trying to break the law dont blame walmart if they wont let you.
