Since mags for these guns are really hard to find, I figured an update might be helpful to somebody else out there who owns a .22LR PP or PPK.
I found some aftermarket mags at www.ammoclip.com for only $20 each. I bought two and tried them at the range today. These were advertised as 15 round mags, but one holds 18 rounds and the other 17 (obviously, they stick out the bottom of the magwell quite a bit). I put about 200 rounds through them and they worked just fine. The workmanship is a little rough, especially when compared to the original walther mag. They don't fit into the magwell really smoothly and you have to push the mag release in as you insert the mag or it won't lock, but they fed every round and engaged the slide lock when empty. Actually, it was a lot of fun to dump an 18 round magazine of .22 through this little pocket gun. I'm now a happy man.
Walther PP/PPKs .22LR, pre-ban 15 round, blued steel body and floor plate with chrome follower, made by D&E metal in the USA-new. Limited to stock on hand.
Earl's does have used .22 cal. PP and PPK magazines turn up from time to time.
Call and check, it won't hurt to ask.
They sell from $40.00-$75.00 depending on condition.
I bought three from them for my PP for $150.00 including shipping and all were like new.
They also get some Manhurin manufactured magazines in from time to time and these are quite a bit less money than genuine Walther and just as good. HTH Milo
