I have an oppurtunity locally to purchase a Walther PPK for $200. Now I know thats a good deal but the catch is that it is completly dissassembled. the owner said he took it apart years ago and never put it back together. He Thinks that everything is there but is not 100% sure.
First instinct was to jump on it for the price and figure the rest out later. I poked around online and had trouble finding any solid information on how to reassemble these pistols, and I have very limited knowloedge on the subject. I know how to field strip this gun but that is it.
With my limited knowloedge do you think I could handle putting this gun back together with a solid set of instructions?
Do you guys think with this hassle and maybe bigger problems it is still worth the price?
I am yet to see the gun but he said its in great shape and never had any problems firing.
I was also wondering if there are certain parts (besides the obvious slide/frame) that I should make sure are there because they are more expensive and/or hard to find.
Thanks for all of your help in advance
