Keep an eye on the rear sights. I have seen lots of posts on the Walther forums and on Facebook that the filler likes to fall out under recoil.
Yup.. Happened to mine. Walther will replace them free of charge. I put night sights on mine though.

I’m now the new owner of a PPS. It looks just like new. It is 2012 production date so slide is stamped Smith & Wesson, Walther started their own import company in 2013. I got it for under $300 OTD. I will shoot it in a couple of weeks and post pics and review. I like the way it feels, and the paddle release doesn’t bother me at all. It is slightly larger than G43 but just as thin if not thinner. I think it will carry easy, I just need to find a holster. I’ve heard good things about crossbreed IWB. Thanks for all of the comments.

Your price was right. Nice work.

I've been keeping an eye out at my local haunts for a second PPS M1 to keep around as a backup to the one that I carry. For guns that I carry which aren't in current production, I like to keep a backup on hand, hence I have two Gen 1 P99's and am searching for a second Gen 1 PPS in 9mm. I'm seeing lots in .40, but not many in 9.

Same with me. I currently have three "back-ups", but I have two boys that will carry when they are of age and I truly have yet to find a better carry piece than the PPS Classic 9mm.

I've had the older model PPS 9mm for many years now---I prefer the paddle-release because I'v also become addicted to several HK with this feature---my pistol came with both 6 and 7 rd mags and I bought several more 7 rd mags. I only shoot factory 115-124 JHP ammo as this is a defensive pistol and I don't plink with it---it has never jammed and shoots very well for such a compact little pistol...

I have four Classic's, two in 9 MM and 2 in .40. Looking for another one in .40. Good solid weapon.
