Does CA have the 2nd amendment as part of their state constitution? This might make for a good case for the Cali AWB being unconstitutional.
Nope.

This story is a reminder to those Californians who are hiding their "assault" weapons to KEEP YOUR MOUTHS SHUT!I've got a feeling that there are a lot of evil assault weapons in California squirreled away in attics, storage units, and other places, waiting for the Liberation
And yet, we have people who actually understand how insane this is, and still stand up to condemn him because, well, California said he couldn't do this but he did anyway. We know beyond any doubt that the law is illogical and immoral, and yet we still have folks who use it as a basis for judging peoples' actions. Why?

Someone got into a jam with the task force, and gave up my friend's name as having the flash hider on the M1A. That's how law enforcement works it... they get something on someone and then informs them how they can help themself out by giving up someone else they might know who is dirty. This is fine if we are talking about major crime, but to have to stoop this low is amazing to me. I always focused on serious crimes against society, not this nitpicky minor stuff. But, it is not minor to my friend. He's most likely going to become a convicted felon, have to give up all his firearms and spend some time in prison. Unbelievable. California is out of control.
Cannon Fuse? the green stuff they sell at all the gun stores for about a buck fifty a foot?
why exactly is that a bad thing? I like to put extended fuses on the fireworks my little cousins set off (legal fireworks) so they don't have to play with the dangerously short fuses that often come on them.
I agree on the stigma that is attached to shooters here in california. People treat you like an extreemist, or a terrorist, or some kind of crazy.
If it were 1858, someone who failed to summon authorities if they saw a runaway slave headed north on the Underground Railway technically wouldn't be considered a law-abiding citizen, either.Well someone who owns an unregistered M1A with a flash suppressor technically isnt a law-abiding citizen.
Would you please elaborate on this?shooter94 said:I've lost two jobs due to me mentioning in casual conversation at work that I was a recreational shooter.

IANAL but you can say mr P is a jerk who is ratting folks out...right?....
Actually I said it was a four letter word that started with P and rhymed with "awl".
That's the nicest thing a Texan has ever said to me as a Californian. All california gun owners are hereby invited to move to the Great state of
Texas, we love gun owners and the more guns you have the better for
when we secede we will have our own army to protect our borders
I worked at a place where I had time to read on occasion...not knowing about people and their irrational fears, my choice or reading material incited hysteria among the females there. As a subcontractor, I could get replaced at anytime without ryme or reason. Leason learned...
...no room for tolerance whatsoever.
