Was powder affected by panic buying in 2008?

Don't sweat it. These shortages don't last very long. Eventually people will realize that they have enough and then the shelves will fill up again. Maybe in one month we will have components available.

Just be thankful you're not looking for 223 ammo. Might take longer for those to be available.

this "panic buying" couldn't have come at a worse time for me. two months ago I told myself I would do a substantial order to last me for a year after those christmas bucks come through. I got lucky today and saw powder valley just got in tula srp so I ordered 8k for use in 223 and 38/357 along with 4 pounds of hp38. should last 6 months. as for 223 powders- forget about it, all of the most popular ones were out. Im going to have to try to track some down later :/

Powder seemed to be ok today. Picked up four pounds of various powder today while in town. Now primers, that is a different story. If I wanted large rifle magnum I would be set......everything else......nada......
