I'm thinking about bringing a couple of newbies. They don't shoot a lot, but she does hunt. He is just getting introduced to loud noises for fun. I think they will fit the crowd well, as SHE is a great cook.

I don't yet know if the Johnsons can make it, as school was closed a number of days this winter.

Gabe will be back East, visiting his folks.
Parker says they are questionable, as he'n'she are planning on taking the RV around the country.
The Johnsons haven't confirmed, yet, although Ty said he wants to be in, if he can get some time off work.

Johnsons won't be able to make it. Charlene is looking at at least one knee replacement. Ty can't get off work as they have him on 7 days now.
I do have a former Marine interested, Not yet confirmed but says he'd like to show up.

Just got a call from Shelby, my Marine acquaintance. He will be with us. He was in that area yesterday and says there is still snow up Walker Springs Road and he couldn't get all the way up with 4-wheel drive and 30" tires.

As usual, I'll bring a one pot dinner, a flat of eggs and bacon. I found a nice buy of peppered ends'n'pieces that look really good. I'll bring them, also. I've a bottle of Yellow Tail Moscato and a bottle of Drumcastle Irish to add to the table. I found a bag of Australian coffee that is very good. If I have any left, I'll bring some. Polish, shall I bring toilet paper (again)?

Well, if we're missing a few of the old-timers, we need some more new blood ... Surely there's some more guys (or gals) from Washington, Northern Oregon or Western Idaho want to trek out to East-Central WA for a weekend of shootin' and cameraderie ... nice range and some big campfires, but good people mainly ...

Shelby has asked (with my permission) a couple of Veteran friends to come up, also. So he is 2 confirmed, 4 possible. His phone won't let him sign in here, for some reason.

Shelby has said he will check the Walter Springs road this coming weekend. Polish, will you or brother be up there?

I will be up there Saturday. Road is dry, have been up a couple times this spring already. looking forward to seeing everyone Fathers Day weekend.

That is good to know. Have you used Walter Springs Rd or come in from the North?

First off to those of you that have viewed the posts and searched past history on the event please come up and join us. You don't have to stay the whole weekend, we can figure out places to sleep if you don't have the right equipment, we share and treat each other kindly with safety in mind and some friendly ribbing. There have been a few people that have come and gone and some that have been stalwarts but this is about sharing shooting and meeting new people. Come up and check it out!!!!

Yes, Pops been driving all around up there, roads are bare and bumpy.

Good to know about the roads.

Parker just checked in. He is having a little health problem with his chest congestion and isn't going to make it this year. Nothing really serious, I think, but doesn't want to chance it.

The Johnsons just checked in as going, maybe, if the rig runs, if Charlene is OK, if .... Charlene won't be coming, but Tram, Cody and a friend of Cody's will.

A contact of mine is a Marine veteran. He and his other will be coming up either Friday eve or Saturday, depending on his security work situation. He has a couple of friends, Veterans, who are interested. I've briefed him on food, lodging and decorum. (He questioned me much about decorum including only "true stories" around the campfire. )
