I checked out that new Ruger MkIII, and it has Weaver-type scope base that seems to be secured to the same predrilled points that my MkII came with from factory... I think I can just take this new scope base and mount it straight to my MkII... Does anybody know where I can get this very scope base?

I don't know where to get that exact base, they may have it made to their own specs--but brownell's sells a few similar items:
http://www.brownells.com
Go to "browse by category", and then -->"scope rings/bases"-->"scope bases"-->"weaver-style". There are ten pages listed, and the bases for Mk pistols begin on page 6. I see four of that general type. Some specifically say that they fit the predrilled holes, but all of them probably do.

Also, you might just go into your local gun shop and ask, Mk II's are one of the more popular 22LR pistols after all. They might have such a mount on hand, and you could take the gun along and "line the holes up" before purchasing.
......
Also note: some of these types of bases (for Mk / Ruger pistols) really need to have epoxy underneath them; particularly the very small, low-height types. The centers of these are rather thin and they are not stiff enough laterally to remain secure without epoxying.

Thanks, I checked brownells, they do have some similar looking rails and I even liked one, except it is not available in a black finish, only silver. The one on the picture I posted is the one I really want to get... Probably I will have to write to factory and see if they can send me one...
