Weekend Reloading

Found some extra time to reload a box of cartridges for my Fall deer hunting season. I found my load for my R700 that shoots 0.75MOA, so I loaded up a dedicated batch strictly for hunting use, and will load a batch for range practice and zero check. I also replaced the Lee O-ring lock ring with some Hornady Lock Rings and it made a huge difference in repeatability.

Nice. Just got my load figured out my 700 in 7mmRM. Shooting 160gn accubond for everything up to elk from here on out with this gun. Only 27 days left until fall bear opens here in Washington.

Nice my spring bear season just ended on the 30th. Saw one bear but it ran off before a shot could be had.

I also picked up some 150gr Partitions that I want to develop for heavier game in the 270Win.

A lot of stuff going on this weekend but my buddy grabbed my 30-30 and got this one Friday.



Spent this afternoon getting my trap back online and these guys came on while I was unloading the truck.

I’ve got a Marlin 30-30 to start load development for as well. Picked up some Hornady 150gr. Be a nice timber deer/black bear gun.
