I was just surfing the ol' net when I ran across this and thought I'd post it(like you havn't seen it a million times) It appears that Mr. Badass on the bottom needs a lesson from his comrads on where to put your finger durring a photo op.

I don't think he was referring to the RPG. Look at "Mr. Badass on the bottom", holding a SAW with his finger on the trigger.

I think he's talking about the guy crouching with the SAW, it does look like he has his finger on the trigger. Looks like the guy with the AK is pointing it right at the guy with the RPG tube also

Friend of mine just got out of the Army a couple of months ago. Airborne 509th.

He brought a group portrait home with him. About 30 guys, and he was the only one with his finger on the trigger. All the others had their fingers out of the trigger guard. I asked him about it and he said "I didn't see that... I don't know, I probably just did it for effect. I never do that."

That said, he wasn't scowling like a 13 year old posing with his daddy's shotgun, like the 2 guys in that photo with their fingers in the trigger guard are.

The guy holding the sign is also aiming at Lefty with his M9 there.

Anyhoo, a pretty lame picture, with blatant disregard for safety. These guys are in a Commo battalion? What's a FARP? Forward Area Reconnaisance Platoon?

My theory: they got 'em from some abandoned enemy position.

Why do they always seem to have the smallest guy lugging around the SAW? He looks like he is all of 12 and I bet he doesnt outweigh his equipment by much. I'm not actually sure that his finger is on the trigger either. It might just be the angle.
