Looks like fun to me! I had a .17hmr that I wish I hadnt sold :banghead:. It was great fun to shoot anything you can see at 100 yards through the scope and watch the hit due to virtually no recoil.

Pricepoint will decide if I give the new .17WinMag a second look. As mentioned, RF cant be reloaded, so if its more than about $0.30-$0.40 per round, I have a hard time believing it will last long.
 
I hooked up with a guy "stubbing" H&Rs with custom 17 hornet barrels. Its a 17 caliber centerfire(Hornady came up with it, but not very many rifles out there yet). Its completely devastating on varmints, has zero recoil, and he said he had prairie dog kills out to 500 yards with it. I'm waiting for better rifle availability on that round. All totaled, it looked like it would cost under a buck to reload with NEW brass, and less that 45 cents if you recycle the brass.
