I just, (3 minutes ago), was on the phone with Congressman Gosar of Arizona, called by his staff for an online conference call from constituents. OK, phone bill be damned - I wanted to ask about our favorite subject, Fast and Felony Stupid. I asked him what the House was going to do about the blatant stonewalling and unconstitutional acts of the DoJ and the Attorney General in regards to F&F. The Congressman was very eloquent about the resolution of no confidence that has 100 co-sponsors, and the need to remove those breaking the law and have them imprisoned. He complimented me on my knowledge of the event, (mostly thanks to Dave Workman!), and said, I quote, "You are all over that!"
A lot of the remarks covered the redacted documents, the 88,000 documents DoJ has and the 6000 documents that the Committee has, and the fact that most are redacted/duplicated simply to bring the number up. He also commented that he was the second member to call for Holders resignation.
Over all, a lot of the usual, but a core of "We need to get those responsible, and do it now"
Like I said, a very interesting phone call.

Sorry, I enjoyed the fact that a Congressman called ME, and invited me to ask questions of HIM. If that's a common occurring event for you, then you must be far more important than me. :)

From my LE perspective: my team is only as good as our District Attorney, or the State's Attorney General. If the DA has a "catch and release program" mentality, what are we risking our lives for? If the AG is giving firearms to illegal alien drug trafficers, and their cartels?

All too many politicians echo the "..we need to get the criminals" off the street lines of BS, w/o any real action-engaging steps being taken behind the scenes.

Congrats on being allowed some direct input. Got any like-minded resources we at a long-distance can donate to? Post a link please...

OT- Personally, I'd like to see Sheriff Joe run for AZ Gov..

I like my governor I have right now, and I doubt the Sheriff would be interested in the job - he loves being where he's at. :) As for like minded resources, best place in AZ to donate to would be the Arizona Citizens Defense League. http://azcdl.org/ Great outfit, good people who helped ramrod a lot of good firearms changes here in Arizona. Federally, no, nothing I would donate to up there with the exception of the NRA.
