Yep...I was pretty surprised on how good it went, epsecially for it being my first one.
I went to the Southeast Gun and knife show here in Virginia Beach. What really surprised me was how nice everyone was. I always have the bad luck of meeting the 'too-serious' types of gun people wherever I go to ranges or shops, but everyone was actually polite and happy to be there--even the guys who were experienced and busy. I grabbed a nifty Ultra 87 12ga for about 200 give or take a couple bucks. Just a little inexpensive something to blast paper with dove loads and keep people out of my house. I also grabbed some Fletchette rounds, a bag case for the shotgun, and a new flicker/switch knife (I seem to collect them now). I'll be going in another four months when they come back, because alot of the frequenting dealers had some ridiculously low prices on the things I'm particularly interested in. If I wasnt so frugal and hesitant, I would have blown the remaining 220 or so bucks on a Saiga. next time though.
anyone else go to this today?
