And it was a lot of fun! It was the Indy 1500 gun and knife show ; and really wasn't nearly as crowded as I'd expect. I got to see some cool stuff, quite a bit of class III automatic stuff. (That I would really not mind having in my collection :D )

Anywho, I bought a folding stock for my Romainian AK (PLEASE NOTE: This is to be put on AFTER the ban expires! Not before!) And for the life of me, I can't see how it would fit on there. I also got a bayonet for the Garand... :D But I can't get that to go on either :( . It seems that the little plug thingy for the end of the gas tube is too big! Could this be because it's a new manufacture?

What's with all the Sten MkII parts I saw there? It seems like every table had a section dedicated to 'em... I didn't know that sten's were that common...?

Thanks,
Nick

Glad you enjoyed the show Nick ....

Oh yeah ... there must be countless parts floatin around still ... but thing is - care needed to keep things legal ... all too easy to make those suckers go auto .... with certain things done!:p

Many cheap pressed steel guns .. were made in such huge quantities .. there'll be guns and parts around for ages yet!

if you got the single arm side folder you just fieldstip pull the 2 stock screws
remove the butt stock pull the 2 folder screws. (hope it came with them mine has 2 allen screws)insert folder into back of reciever insert the folder screws. reasemble ak youre in biz if. you got the underfolder i bear bad news, underfolders will not fit reg stock aks without major modifications :(
btw im waiting for the same day you are and have a romie side folder that will go on my sar-1. the day cant come soon enough dont fall to temptation and modif early badthings happen.

btw if you did get sidefolder alls not lost there are still romie sidefolders out there for $40 from fac of minisota hurry tho if you cant move the underfolder save it for a custom build ak on the underfolder recievers that will come out after awb day of death

I'm glad you enjoyed the show. I went on Saturday morning with a handful of my friends. I was probably the only one of us who was ready to buy a new gun, but of course no one had what I was looking for. I guess I shouldn't have been expecting too much since I've never had any luck at a gun show, but it is apparantly unrealistic to find non-AR .223 rifles. Nobody had anything that I wanted. Too bad really. I somehow doubt I'll be going back to the Indy 1500 until I'm ready to buy a cheap sword or rubber band toys.
