It was a busy show (pretty busy parking lot, too, what with a rodeo and the ballet on, all at the same time).
Lots of ammo around, and a wide and varied array of firearms. Prices were about gunshow average (smart vendors have worked out that most consumers already know internet pricing and shipping costs).

Saw one of my new fave ammo vendors, Plinkers, out of Brenham, TX, and got some Armscor 55gr 223 for under $10 the box. One of my fave mag vendors was there, and I got a 15-22 mag for about $10 less than retail--so, I'm calling that good for the day.

Was tempted, sorely tempted, by an RIA 1911 in 38super as the tag was only $499, easily a c-note less than I've seen elsewhere.

Also, saw something new: Pickle vendor. Sadly, they were out of red onions & avocados.

So, it was a good afternoon, particularly for gabbing with the vendors I know.
Felt the need to go to my fave Mexican joint to get some cabrito al pastor--so, I'm stuff clean full and a tortilla, too :)

It drives me crazy how many actual Colt M1911's in .38 Super I could have picked up at gun shows for $200 each twenty years ago. But, ammo wasn't readily available and me and my buddies hadn't quite figured out hand loading; so I passed.....
