We're 11 days into the gun panic-anyone PLANNING to add to it?

I already had a Model 36 S&W in layaway and had planned on ordering a 1903 when they went on sale at CMP. Other than that I did break down and buy a Saiga .223 this week $349 OTD. Otherwise, just ammo at times.

Nope...don't forsee and panic purchases in the near future. I would like a 1911 eventually, and a nice sub compact for my significant other. My bolt gun is a long way off from being started...so nope.

I will probably buy some more pmags... just to do my part with the frenzy.

I was in Jackson, Ms this weekend visiting my son and we attended a gun show. Got there early a few minutes after opening and there were long lines waiting for admission. Some of the local folks said they had never seen such a turnout. I saw some very interesting pieces, an original Win mod 95 in 405 Win. out of my price range, but then I only found out about the show this morning and did not bring enough money to do anything serious. I did see one Duch Beuamont that was interesing, went back after a quick trip down the isles and it was gone. I did luck up and find 3 boxes od 32-20 which I had been looking for though.

I'm not going to go crazy for ar's etc.I have my old relics to play with and some very nice closet queens for reaching out.they wont go off w/o primer though and powder is going thru the roof[some @ 28.00 lb in my area ].I guess I should have 9v batteries and use lica as a training aid. .338RUM,225 gr acubond w 100gr retumbo,not efficient but effective.

I already added to it.

I bought 2,500 rounds for my favorite pistol and have ordered 2,500 rounds for my favorite rifle. In case BO bans ammunition sales, or puts a 500% tax on it (as he intends).

I also bought another rifle and two more pistols. For same reasons.

I'm set for next 4 years for target practice (100 rounds a month), hunting, and personal defense carry.

It's long overdue, but I'm also going to join the NRA as a lifetime member as my next act to try to preserve freedom and constitutional rights.

P.S. - I was smart enough to see the writing on the wall and panic BEFORE the election and got most of my stuff ordered BEFORE the panic. i.e. - before shortages and price increases.
