Nothing yet, I'm guessing Magpul is going into overtime on PMAG's, I might swing by my gun store tomorrow to see if there is anything left or if price gouging is gonna start,

I'm planning on dipping into my funds to get a Spike's Tactical .22LR Upper, and maybe a small-ish conceal piece--though I might make that a Browning Hi-power, as I've always wanted one and now the "hi cap" nonsense will make 'em and their mags "rare"

I just ordered 1000 more rounds of SS197 and 2 more 50 round mags for the PS90 tonight. That sets me at just at 3500 rounds and 8 mags. That should last me for a while. I guess I will pick up some more ammo just before he swears in next year as I expect a big buying rush to effect supplies and prices.
Also picked up 1 more mag for the Beretta 92. I have 7 x 20 rounds for the Five seveN so that should work. All my other handguns are 1911s and will not really be effect by possible magazine bans and I have plenty of .45ACP on hand. All my other long guns are either WWII rifles or shotguns so they should not be effected.
In all honesty I think anything gun control is pretty low on his list of priorities, if anything happens if will be long into this term or into the next IMO.

as it happens, a month ago i put a deposit down on a used beretta 302a. my first shotgun. tomorrow is payday and i am going to go pick it up.

Obama's a politician, and he KNOWS what his priorities are.
And I'm going to tell you his #1 priority. His number 1 priority when he takes office is figuring out how the hell he's going to keep his fickle followers from turning on him when he's unable to fix everything in 6 months.
I've spent a lot of time in Taiwan, and that island's political-economic situation mirrors the US exactly. They had their equivalent of Bush (President Chen Shui Bian) for the last 8 years. They elected the opposition party candidate afterwards.
Just /6 months/ after he took office, his own supporters were protest marching on the Presidential Estate because of how he failed to fix the economy.
I can DEFINITELY see the same fate befalling Obama early in his presidency.
And I purchased a pair of AKs, one Chinese and one Romanian, and got a bunch of Bulgarian waffle mags, and a Romanian 75rd Drum. Already have an ammo stockpile in major calibers, so I think I'm good there.

I'll be purchasing an underfolder stock AK, Romanian I think, and a 75 round drum tomorrow. If price gouging is in effect more than $50 for the rifle, for example, I'll probably wait and hope things will cool off, or just settle for only having a Chinese MAK-90 as my AK for many years. I'll be getting some bulk 7.62x39 in short order, and then over a period of time buy many more spare mags and ammo than I would have otherwise. Oh yeah, one thing I'll be blowing my precious cash on tomorrow will definately be rum!

Making a trip to the little-known FFL down the road to buy some Wolf ammo, ask if he sells powder and such, check if his smith will take a look at the malfunctioning trigger on my S&W, and wish him luck.

well, i wanted an ar15 type rifle. but since the obama got elected, i can see that option is going to go down the toilet fast. i dont have the money to buy one right now, and by the time i do they will be illegal. no sense in buying a high capacity mag for one either. man, i am so freaking angry/ upset/ mad / disapointed. it isnt even just funny. did he ever produce a real document that shows he is really a natural born United States citizen???
