I’ve been busy with a lot of things since fall, and at that time primers were non-existent, but you could still find brass for just about everything if you looked around. Now that all my projects are finished, I’ve got the urge to start loading and shooting again. I’ve got plenty primers and powder, and cast bullets are still available, but brass for .357 Mag is unobtanium as some like to say. What’s the deal? Every other caliber seems to at least be available even if it is more expensive. I spent all morning looking online for some new brass, but there was NONE available; neither new, once fired, nor range brass.
I still have about 300 new cases, and I suppose that loading cast bullets will lengthen the case life, but it still seems odd that every other caliber of brass seems to be available, but there is absolutely no .357 Mag.
