Yes, that’s right, I’m going to build me another AR.
I have been thinking about doing the Riptile cammo pattern on an AR for some time but just couldn’t decide on which of my rifles to paint.
For those not familiar with the Riptile Cammo pattern, it looks like this.

Easter weekend I checked out PSA’s Easter sale and had a week moment. I ordered the 16” midlength 5.56 1/7 Nitride MOE EPT rifle kit with the rear MBUS sight.
But it was only $330 with free shipping.
It just arrived at the house.

Now I have to do two things.
#1 decide on the colors
#2 decide to leave the Magpul furniture on are put some standard M4 type furniture on it.

Oooo looking forward to this one!

I'd probably go Magpul on, and do the green and beige.. .Ish color. .. .

Is that Riptile camo on those ammo cans rattle can, or cerakote? I bought all of my buddies cerakote stuff, and haven't used it yet. You definitely just got my wheels turning. I absolutely love that pattern, and I just built a .300blk pistol. Hmm lol. Where did you get the stencil for that design?

It’s just rattle can paint. I looked at the patterns and told myself that I could use tape to do it.
Here are the steps to do it.

Black sprayed over tape so that it just goes over the edges (hardest part)

Gunny
I'm not sure I have any interest in doing this but it's cool that you documented it and showed folks how to do it.

NICE JOB

I tend to drop too many small parts when blindfolded..
That’s because you’re old!

And I didn’t say you should just that you could.

If memory serves me wasn’t that a requirement as a marine? Or was it just field stripping? I know my brother told me about how he had to do that in the (gasp) Army.

Hmmmm? how does one buy stock in that PSA company?
I don’t think they’re public so you can’t.

But one way to see what their structure is to contact the SC agency responsible for incorporations. From there you can probably get their filings if they’re public. From there you can find out how to contact investor relations. From there you can either invest directly if they have a DRIP program or via a broker if they’re OTC or on an exchange.

If they’re private you still might be able to invest, but you’d have to have large bucks and a reason for them to want to take your money.

I know it makes it harder to find capital to expand, but if one can make it work it’s better, especially in a controversial industry.
