What are the most expensive guns currently being made for sale?

I'm not talking about auctions for historical or hollywood guns. I mean if I wanted the best currently made custom double rifle or hand-made shotgun or whatever, what would it cost? I used to hear rumors of $250,000 hand-made Parker shotguns that you had to order 20 years in advance.... is that still going on anywhere? Any info welcome.

At one time Rigby’s operations were here in the US. I’m not sure anymore. There are a few USA made Rigby double rifles out there.

Last I heard, the Big Bang set from Cabot was listed for 4.5 million or something crazy like that. As far as I'm aware, those are the most expensive custom made guns available.

On an episode of guns and ammo TV they showed an AR made 100% out of titanium. I think it was made by Daniel Defense if I remember, just to show it could be done. They said you could order one for $100,000 I believe, and that was probably 10-15 years ago. It was beautiful.

It's hard for me to wrap my mind around anything selling for 5 figures, let alone 6. There was a time when a gun costing 4 figures would have seemed insanely expensive to me. But anymore $1000-$2000 for a rifle or shotgun doesn't get you anything fancy. Just a solid, accurate, dependable rifle or shotgun.

I looked at a new Mauser 98 in 8x57 at a hunting show here in Sweden back in May. The Swedish kronor price was about the equivalent to $16000. Nice rifle though.

Mere trifles. Except for the metorite .45, most of your top end limited production/bespoke guns will be H&H, Purdey, Peder Hofer, etc.
Off the shelf production guns; Kreighoff, Perazzi, Rizzini, Abbiatico and Salvinelli; Chapius if your slumming......

Westley Richards hand detachable boxlock shotguns start at £74,500 and go up fast.
The other English Best are not so crass as to publicly post prices. But it is interesting that Greener is still in business with a Mr Greener on the board. They will sell you a new shotgun with Damascus barrels left over from their last production run in 1903.
Purdey will make you a shotgun that is ALL Damascus throughout, excepting pins and springs. But they use Swedish Damasteel powder metal at least for the action. The barrels are browned, I don't know if they are Damasteel or real twist.
