Around here, places want $100 to engrave my trust, location, serial number, model, and caliber on an Uzi. I could send it out for a $55 job plus shipping, which is probably going to run me about $13 each way.

$35-$40 for CNC router. $10-$15 for diamond tip pantograph at the trophy shop (looks great on steel but shallow on some coatings and tends to chip thick type III anodization). My engraver is working on setting up a pantograph with a router bit. Unfortunately he only owns one complete font.

About $25 for the vibro engraver and $0 for each of the Form 1 firearms and silencers I have used it on since. Print out your Trust name or name & all required ATF info on a self adhesive address label, stick it onto the SBR barrel or silencer tube, trace the lettering and done. Quite acceptable unless you consider your SBR's barrel a work of art. Mine are shooters, not wall hangers.

That's true. It's not like the rest of the gun looks like it came from a factory.

This, the first few I did on my friends CNC mill with Dremel and engraving bit mounted to the quill. But way too much time and trouble, for a part that has little resale value anyway.

I go locally who engraves car parts for Rousch and otehr manufacturers has done it for me for $30-35, he needs about a week heads up but turns it around same day.

Pretty awesome service and work considering it is not even his "real business"
