What arms would be popular today if not for the 1934 NFA?

In addition to a suppressor for every gun, I’d want:

#1 A couple dozen hand grenades.

#2 An M-79 with real 40mm HE rounds.

#3 A Glock 18

#4 A Browning M2

I vote for a .22 LR subgun that I could AFFORD to shoot. I bet things like that would be very popular.

In my mis-spent youth, I had FFL & SOT and sadly lacked a wife to aid and assist me in spending my hard earned cash. For a while I had a AWC (Dater era) suppressed, Laser Loc sighted, dealer sample American 180. It would dump the whole 177 round magazine in about 6 seconds, and was about as loud as an IBM Selectric typewriter.

That was one of the most fun to shoot guns I have ever had.

Sad to say I sold both the suppressed barrel and the 180. Traded the Laser Loc sight for a German made 300 Weatherby Magnum with the Pendleton De-kicker muzzle brake.

Ah well, as I said, my youth was mis-spent.
