Was it a high capacity bedpost?

Apparently it was a single-shot bedpost. Particularly with a running back swinging it.

The high capacity bedposts are on bunkbeds. And we letchildren use them. :what:

Not only we have high capacity bedposts, we also have TCPCVBs, Tactical Combat Polymer Coated and Vented Bedposts. They are built into the newest bunk beds and space age light weight portable camp beds as well.

And based on what I have heard, they are capable of launching 8115 grain projectiles at over 14,700 feet per second, at a rate of a thousand per nanosecond!!!

OMG!! The children The children:eek:

Uh huh. Grin. There are some people who THINK that it is the usually the victim's fault and he must have been 'asking for it'.

NOT!

I think that it was a one shot caliber bedpost.

But it was a running back who swung it. So it must have had the power of a .50 caliber

LOL!

Rachen, OK so it was a .50 Caliber one shot caliber... I stand corrected on my one shot caliber! Grin.

This thread is a good one although I almost spit out my hot tea on the laptop, laughing while reading some of these replies.

Whatever happened to hammocks? If he had a hammock, then this would have been a bed post free zone, and there would be no problem.

Did the BATF comment on wether the bedpost
was made from preban illegally logged indonesian
wood, or post ban regular hickory?

Variety is the spice of life.

Did anyone mention the old song about chewing gun, errr, guM on a bed post?

At least he was thinking. I would have never thought of taking my bed apart to use as a weapon.

I might have thought if it except that in my home there are so many things just set in corners, or hanging on the walls that can be used to bludgeon someone that I don't need to take the time to unscrew anything to get my hands on a weapon.

If for some weird reason I find myself in a self defense situation in my home and I don't have immediate access to my firearm I will use the first sword, knife, baton, cane, or big stick i can reach, and it's a safe bet that one will be close.

Hmmmm, I haven't heard of anyone being hit with a real blackthorn shillelagh in a long time.:D

His chewing gum didn't lose it's flavor on the bedpost overnight: it gained the taste of blood. :)

Remind me to never fall over in your house, I'll probably fall on a sharp object.

Have to admit I was thinking "why didn't he have a baseball bat or something besides the bedpost?" *shrug* OTOH, what he had seems to have worked right well.

LOL!:D Thanks Catherine. But I hope that bedpost didn't have a polymer frame, or a thing that goes up, or has evil looking vents along it's sides.

OMG, then it is a TCPFAB: Tactical Combat Polymer Framed Assault Bedpost!
