But it's 5pm, and i've been in my robe since I woke up at 8am.

Hey.. my classes are canceled today, no work, didn't have to take the boy to preschool, the wife's at her job.... where's my motivation for getting dressed?

I carried my Glock 22 .40 today. Mostly because its my duty weapon and my Agency will back me in a good off duty shooting if I use my duty weapon. If it wasnt for that I would probably carry either a 9mm or a .38.

As of 1/22, with 260 respondents, it's interesting to find that two calibers were carried by the majority of our respondents on a given day:

Half of respondents carried the big two: 9mm and .45, and almost three-fifths of those opt for the 9.
Third place is shared by the .40, the .380, & the 38/357 (each of those representing just over one person in ten)
Only half that many, one person out of twenty, carries the 10mm
357 SIG is rarer still; one person in fifty

Sometimes I carry my new Czech made CZ 2075 RAMI in 9mm with 124gr Remington Golden Saber HP's. Other times, I like to carry my 58 year old Hungarian FEG PA-63 in 9X18mm with 94gr Silver Bear HP's.
