I picked .357 Magnum. However, I will say that I do not have my CCW permit or the gun I will carry yet. Once I get my license, I will buy a Model 19 4" and carry it.
Well, there's no .22 LR choice. I always have my NAA mini along no matter what primary gun I have just because it's so tiny and easy to tote and it comes in handy. But, I usually, 70 percent of the time I guess, will be carrying a 9mm in a pocket.
I carry a 9mm, either a Walther P99 or a Bersa Thunder 9 UC (my new favorite). In fact, all of my pistols are 9mm but, I will certainly be picking up a .45 pistol at some point.
Well I love my little S&W 386 PD .357 magnum Airlite. It is easy to carry, and while it is not a lot of fun to shoot for long periods of time, I can practice with .357 loads without undue pain.
If I am not carrying that, I will go for my CZ 75 P-01. I also have a Sig .40 but I have not tried carrying that concealed yet.
voted 9mm. And hope the time will nver come that i will actually have to use it. My 45 stays at home basically for HD situation. Need "one shot stop legend" to do its best when called for at home base but for carry, a 9mm is my choice because of 17rnds of a potent round in mag (G17) more chances of re engagement in case i miss a moving/multiple targets.
I carry a little Smith 38 snubbie the most. But, I shoot 357's and 41 mags the most if you don't count 22's. A 4" 41 mag makes one heck of a woods gun as long as you have a good belt and holster setup.
Sometimes have the Glock 23 with me though. We shoot well together.
