Some of us sent donations to the recall efforts in CO and those donations made a difference. We helped recall two CO state senators and helped force a third to resign. Not all we'd hoped for, but it was a start.

What can be done to help the guys in CT?
As I understand it, there is supposed to be a court hearing on 1/20/2014. What's the story with this?

Will money help? Will letters help?

Anything we can do from outside the state?

As a wise man once said, if we don't hang together then we will all hang separately. So what can we do to hang together?

I think where this case the law is in effect, the only thing to do (and I may be wrong) is to find out which (if any) grassroots organizations in CT are going to try and fight it and donate to them. I don't think the NRA is taking it on because of the many other issues they're tackling.

Quite possibly the NRA views CT as a lost cause. The CT house vote on gun control was 105-44. The senate vote was 26-10 with four Rs voting with the majority.

The NRA hasn't written off a whole state, but they can't fight stuff just for the sake of making a commotion. They need to find something semi-concrete that they can make a difference on. Spending money just to raise a stink isn't going to help anyone.
