I cant find ak47 here so was thinking of getting one from them,anyone deal with them?
 
I have over the past summer. Bought one of their Romanian AK kits built on a Novak receiver. Good gun and people to deal with.
 
Just placed an order with them last Sat, received the order that Wed. Didn't buy a gun, only accessories but they were fast.
 
I will give them positives for being fast. I have only bought ammo and mags but always fast and accurate.

My only beef was I am 15 mins from there place of business. They don't allow pickups.....not a big deal and they have worked around that somewhat by dealing with that Eric fella to get your orders and pick them up from him....Info about that is on the website.
 
The former owners were great and easy to deal with - I think the new people are pretty good, but haven't gotten anything from them recently.
 
The new owners are employees that bought Classic Arms when the owners retired. Nothing has changed. It's a very good company. I do a lot of business with them.
 
I bought a rifle about 2 months ago when the new owners had taken over. They seemed to be overwhelmed with orders, but I got my rifle in about 2 weeks like they said I would.
 
No they are not, they are out of staters who bought the business and Ben is staying on to help them get their feet wet and to keep up the website. New people seem fine. I have not bought anything since they have been bought out. They used to be the cheapest place to buy AKs, etc.... they are just not anymore. The prices are fairly reasonable for market demand right now I guess. You just don't see the stuff instock at other places anymore. I have done a lot of business with them in the past. We have a vendor here that hits shows that is cheaper so they have been getting business from me lately. I don't particularly care for them trying to scare people and inflate prices now, after the AG comments where made it was a feature on their homepage, all prices changed to POR only, they came back the following day $50 higher. I don't think its something that would have happened with Ben running it, but now owners have to make a profit and recover the money the money they paid for their business. I have no problem with the free market, but I doubt Classic will ever be like the Classic of old again.
 
got my ak from them a couple years ago, good people to deal with then...the new owners are trying to keep up the good work..there web sight is pretty up to date....i was watching them for sks, today there gone...gpr
 
Just chirping up on this end that they're a good business to deal with.

At least, the old owner was. Haven't dealt with them since they changed over either
 
I bought several rifles from them in the past when Ben was ruuning things. All my transactions were very smooth. Haven't ordered from the new owners yet, but I have noticed the price increases. Oh well, I guess it had to happen. :(
 
I got two SKS's from them a few years ago, from what I assume were the original owners. A few weeks ago I got a CZ-82 from I guess the new owners (I didn't know they had changed hands until just now). I didn't see any real difference.

In other words they're first class and a pleasure to deal with IMHO.
 
Got 1000rds of .308 Portugeuse from them at a cheaper price than anyone else in the country now, that I could find. Yeah, they are very reliable company. My ammo was shipped out the next day that I ordered it. THat is more than I can say for Ammo to Go or Wideners. I waited like 6 weeks for Wideners to ship my ammo out. Classic Arms really does have best deals around for the most part. However, one other place I saw that has some smokin deals is Centerfire systems. Their prices are even lower than some of what Classic Arms woudl be.
 
they kick ass. everything i have bought from them has been great. i will continue to buy from them because they have treated me well.

my cz-82 came brand freakin new. quite obviously never shot or handled. for $200? best handgun deal out there. (if i had known it was going to be NEW, i'd have bought 4 of them)

my nagant, purchased from them, is in damn good condition and shoots amazingly accurately.

my bulgarian AK purchased from them is sweet.

another great online place is budsgunshop.com. i can't say enough nice things about them as well. they will literally have your order packed up and shipped out about 15 minutes after you place it online :eek:
