What did you shoot today?

Man. Great day to be at the range.
I had 8 different loadings for my Glock 20. 5 with 180 gr Hdy and 3 with 200 gr Nosler.

I only shot at 10 yards.

Second target upper left diamond is actually some .40 Gold Dots I shotbthru the 10 mm glock. They did good.

The .357 Sigs I reloaded with 125 gr Speer and Vn350 chronoed at 1315.

Near the end of my session today, I just loaded 6 rounds into my G32 and stepped back.to the Pavillion which ranged at 47 yards from my steel.

I ran a few rounds thru my Colt 1991A1, a Kahr CW9, my G17 and myb2 carry guns Kahr P9Covert and Glock 19.

A really great day to shoot.
Since I forgot my tripod for my chrono. I had to make do with a barrel.

22LR range day. A bunch of Federal, Remington and Aguila bulk package ammo. Walter PPK/s (recently made) and Ruger Wrangler. The Walther simply loads, fires and ejects anything. Ran into a few Remington rounds that would not even load into the Wrangler and the PPK/s ate them and spit out the carcass.

All in all a good day.

VZ-58 imported - as a complete rifle- from the Czech Republic. This is a random Google image, and mine has the identical "beaver b." furniture with the same Slovakian muzzle brake, because the brake looks cool.

SAR-4800 (FAL), assembled in Brazil for Springfield Arms' importation in the 1990s.

These guys might be Brazilian, for some real world context, with true standard FALs (manufactured with original Belgian FN tooling).

I shot my PSE Universal today with Carbon Gold Tip Arrows. Took 60 shots.
If I took more than 3 shots with a regular bow, I wouldn't be able to use my right arm for a week. I have tendonitus (tennis elbow, but I don't play tennis)) so bad in my right elbow I had to quit shooting a bow.

I can't even throw darts. Don't even ask about arm wrestling...

Made it to my club's ranges today. It's the first time I ever shot the recently acquired CVA Scout chambered in 444 Marlin. Finished mounting the 1-6x Vortex Strike Eagle scope the other day. Bore sighted it at home; it was on the paper first shot, ( high & right at 50 yds.) then basically zeroed it with 5 more rounds and a little bit of windage & elevation tweaking. Played with that load and a different handload for a total of 13 rounds. Last 7 were all at 100 yards and I'm real happy with it. Already looking forward to deer season this fall.. IMG_8110.JPG .. Put 18 rounds of 6.5x55 handloads through the sporterized Swedish Mauser to do a side by side comparison of some new loads versus some of my standard go-to loads. Then went through 21 rounds in the M-1 Garand because it hasn't been out since October, 2020 and I wanted to check a hunting load against a regular G.I. equivalent handload. The hunting load is just a standard G.I. spec. load with a 150 gr. Nosler Accubond substituted for the 150 gr. FMJ. With that load and a 5 round clip it's a legal deer gun in the rifle zone. Shot pretty good. Here it is in an Oct 2020 pic.. IMG_0204.JPG . Lastly I went to one of the 8 pistol ranges, the one I was in goes out to 30 yards and you can shoot long guns in there also. Fired 18 rounds of 22LR from the Savage Model of 1922 Sporter seen recently in the "let's see those rimfires" thread over in the "Rifle Country" section of this site. Punched paper & some clay birds that I had brought along and finished up with the Glock 19. After 50 rounds of 9mm I called it a day. A very good day. No wind, rain or snow and the temps got above freezing by a degree or two. Also had the whole place to myself the whole time I was there, from 8:30 to about 1:30. Here's the rifle range first thing this morning.. IMG_8109.JPG .. Good Times.

Old multi-pump air rifle we found in its NIB with dried out seals. Unfired. Would not hold air.
Ten days of a drop of pellgun oil per day and a few strokes of the pump.
Now, shoots through a few cardboard boxes and into my bow target. 22.
Next, chrono and give back to owner.

Was planning on shooting the Ruger Single Six convertible with the 22 Magnum cylinder in it today over at my friends place. This afternoon it began snowing again and I decided to postpone it for another day. Wound up shooting the .22 cal. Benjamin trail air rifle in the basement. Just for practice and to check zero because it didn't get any use on squirrels this season. The squirrels here are terrified of me, thanks to that air gun. Found out that it's still zeroed and everything is in order. I like that gun; it's the first air gun I ever got, and that was just over 7 years ago. It was my first experience with thumbhole stocks and I discovered how much I like them for offhand shooting. IMG_0592.JPG

My same gun types seen in Remarks # 1936 (Czech VZ-58 + FAL), ...plus...my PTR-91..
this PTR-91 was able to hit a smallish (some are 2' x 3 or 4'?) gong several times at 200 yards, and an Identical gong.....just once... at 300 yards. German friend was spotting with my (German) Steiner binoculars.

and a friend's S.A. M1A with walnut...----might want to save up for one.:scrutiny:
Friend's newish standard Springfield (S.A.) has an excellent trigger and probably the best aperture sights I've ever used.
