What do have waiting for you in the reloading room?

Loaded 300 38 super tonight- Winchester brass , Servicios Aventuras SPP , Acme Coated 125gr. RN - W244 powder for my S&W 627 Performance Center 38 super and my Rock Island 1911 38 super which has a stainless match barrel, a real Bomar Sight Rail and a Swenson stainless 2 piece guide rod with custom maple burl grips compliments of my brother in law. Both are extremely accurate .

I have another 38-44 project waiting. I did inital development of a rcbs-180-sil in Winchester 38 cases with #9. I did a quick ladder and accuracy put me at 9.0 grains of #9. Fast forward a year or so, and I was shooting these at 200 yards competing against my son at the local range. The groups weren't fantastic to say the least but I was keeping up with peeps against the new Christmas gifts being sighted in. Needless to say I had a blast and I need to break out the crono and get some numbers involved. Let the testing begin.....

They would have to keep them. Too bad you aren't close by.

That said, I did pay almost $100 per 1K for some CCI-34 primers early on during this craziness.

Other than that though, I have plenty of LR primers for my needs.
I’m tapping into product purchases from 2003, now. My buying slowed down around 2009 so I have a few years before I have to start thinking about current prices. Hopefully I will live that long. 🤣👍

I have a mess waiting for me. I had a pocket full of brass that I picked up at the range the otherday, so I went to drop it off in my reloading room.
When I got there I found both my dillon presses were dumped over on the floor.
Seems my storage system had a structural flaw. I have a bookshelf that I drilled holes in one of the shelves, to which I can attach the presses when I'm not using them. The shelf is the type that sits on pins, and it must have gotten a bit heavy toward the front and tipped out of the case.
I cleaned up the spent primers and powder that spilled out of the measures.
Now I have to make sure everything is ok and come up with a better storage system.

Oh, man! That hurts my heart to read. I hope everything comes out well. 😳😣

I’ve got a press waiting for me to change over to load up some 30-30’s, this will be another first for me. Brass is all prepared. Got a box of Sierra 170’s to load. Will start with a couple sets of 5 rounds at lower end of powder range and see hot they shoot.

What do I have waiting? Well:
I have 100 308 Lapua cases prepped and primed waiting on the Grandson to come over and help me load them.

I also have a large washtub that I put my collected range brass in all year long. I deprime them when I get home from the range but I save them up all year and sort and tumble them after hunting season closes. That will be an ongoing project for the next few weeks.
