I do research into integration of Computer Aided Design and Virtual Reality for use in factory floor layout, single workstation ergonomic testing, design evaluation and distant goal of being able to actually do CAD modeling in the true three dimensionality that only VR can provide. Its fun.

I worked as a Welder for many years. Both petroleum industry and hanging steel. West Coast, Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, etc. Best paying job but worst conditions was a weld inspection job in Saudi Arabia for Zuhar Fayez Engineering Services Group.

When I returned to States I bought a Home Inspection franchise and built the business where none had existed before. After 3 years, I sold the franchise to work as Building Inspector for Spearfish. That was a good winter job, but I made much more money building homes in Green Valley. But the economy went flat.

Currently, I'm working as a Construction Project Manager on east coast, based in Pennsylvania but I work all over. Unsure if we'll sell our assets in the Black Hills or go back. Lately, I've been day-dreaming about that bridge project connecting Qatar to Bahrain ...
