See title. Guns are a expensive hobby. Ammo, guns, range fees, gunsmithing bills. How can we afford them? I make leather products for a living. Real leather. None of that plastic leather junk:barf: .

I work for Ford Motor Co. and build the F-150.

Buy Ford......heck buy anything American.

Thousands of people in the U.S. are depending on it.

Thanks

Computer programmer for an investment management firm.

The pay is around the low end for software developers, but I'm single and drive a 13 year old Ford junker and eat ramen noodles... That way I can afford my NFA goodies.

Safety Director for a large construction subcontractor.
I also do a pretty fair amount of Disaster Response consulting for local utilities. Mostly hurricane-related stuff. Also a little feelance OSHA training and consulting on the side.

I am a construction worker and college student. I have enough money to shoot because other than my 45's, I buy cheap guns that fire cheap ammo.

Since Ford brought it up, I own a F***ed Over and Repaired Daily myself. Even with all the problems American cars have, I'd still like to support american auto workers when I buy my first new car, but the recent Ford layoffs which included a friend of mine have me wondering what kind of car I'll get when this one kicks the bucket. I'd love to buy american (not a Ford in honor of my buddy who lost his job), especiaily if the big 3 would do more to HIRE AMERICAN.

"Buy Ford......heck buy anything American."

That's funny. My dad told me that the only car made in America anymore was Toyota's. Fords are made in Mexico & Chevy's in Canada. Me personally, I ride a Schwinn bike everywhere I can as a way of sticking it to the gas companies.:D As for buying American, I hope to buy a Remington Marine Magnum in a few years if I can. I'm in a bit of a financial bind right now so I can only afford a used Romanian SAR1 from a fellow High Roader. Unless I can get on "Deal or No Deal?".

"Academic librarian."

I wanted to be a librarian so badly. I love reading as much as guns if not more so. Then I found out that you need to go to college first.:(

I,m a moldmaker(Tool and Die), been doing it for 20 years this year, and Im only 35,lol..eeek. The complete shebang, CNC, programming, Die sinking EDM and Wire EDM, Blahh....brain overload..;)

Guns is much cheaper than some things..I was into Drag racing for quite a while..I had $35K into one motor...$550 set of Slicks lasts for 25 runs, then they are junk.

"Tons-A-Fun" dancer by night. That's where the real bucks are."

Think I could get a job like that? I'm a 18 year old guy with terminal acne, glases & fat gut. Think Bill Dautrive from "King of the Hill".

These folks don't strike me as 'filthy rich'...but even if they are, why should you regret it?

I am in pilot training, working toward my CFI ratings. In the meantime, I work in air charter sales/marketing and invest in real estate.

I've been driving a 2000 F150 for a little over a year and it's easily the best truck I've ever had!

Oh I'm happy for them. It just depresses me because I re-use toilet paper & paper plates. You know the kind of people you see on the street corner with a 40oz beer bottle & wearing 7 hats? That's my future.:neener:
