A friend wanted me to take a look at this: photo 1.JPG

I know it is a Hopkins and Allen Forehand model 1901. H&A bought out the Forehand and Wadsworth company in 1901 and produced this 5 shot .32 for themselves. The grips have F&W on them, so I assume this was put together from old stock and is likely an early model (pre-1905?). I've read not to shoot smokeless loads. Anyone know anything about these?

H&A guns were of decent quality and I would not worry about shooting a few smokeless power loads. As to anything else, you have learned about all there is to know about that gun.

Hmmm... $100 wall hanger. Don't shoot it. It makes for a beautiful paperweight or curio piece on the mantle. Next, please.
