What doesn't interest you?

What is really cool about this thread is it shows people can have a civilized conversation about revolver or gun likes and dislikes with very little rock throwing and name calling...there is hope for the human race after all. :D

Thank goodness there are more flavors than chocolate and vanilla.
Absolutely concur. Some forums people act like you've just insulted their Mother if you mention disliking a firearm. One example was a man saying his TX22 performed better than his friends G44. The response was outrage. You could just picture the respondent foaming at the mouth. Actually posted "He'd rather be dead than own a Taurus." A little over the top about a .22?

Any handgun in a caliber between 22LR and .380acp. They are either worthless or too obscure. Most antiques before the 1950's or so. Single action revolvers.

Strictly revolver? What I am not interested in are ugly guns. Guns with no class or style. Tacticool. Plastic (I'm not a real big fan of aluminum). Ginormous wrist-breaking ultra magnums. Internal Locks. "Optics". The list goes on, but you probably get the picture. ;)

Guns in general? Basically, anything "trendy". Oddball trendy calibers.... .300 Blackout. 5.7x28mm, etc. Glocks. The huge 2-shot derringers that are as big or bigger than a Chief's Special. Reloading (I can do it, but I HATE it. Pure, abject, time consuming tedium. And not all that money-saving as it's cracked up to be).

Revolver wise? I'm always interested.
Different degrees of interest.

The only thing I can think of would be casting my own bullets.
No real interest in that (for now).

I would not say that I would rather be dead that own a taurus but I certainly would not pay real hard earned money for one.

I'd just be happy with a 22WMR, but a version in 454 would be quite the thumper. I suppose one might be made out of an 1892 action, but I don't know if it'd hold up to that large a cartridge. Maybe one of the Marlin actions?

Rossi/Legacy/Puma 1892s in .454 casull seem to hold up just fine. I’ve owned three, fired them quite a bit, no real issues. Unfortunately they were all sold as rifles so SBR would be your only option.

No interest in 41 magnum
No interest in 44 special only it's big brother 44 magnum which is one of my favorites.
No interest in single action 357 but love single and double action 357.

Yep. The 1892 action is actually measurably stronger than any of the Marlin actions. Actually it's stronger than anything but the 1886 or Winchester 1895.

I'm not really interested in .41 mag. I'm not sure I get the point of the "in between" magnum.

I'm not really that interested in .44 special. Seems like a reasonable round, but kind of expensive for what you get if you don't reload.

I'm not really interested in .41 mag.

I appreciate some of you guys not being interested in the .41... that leaves more for me! ;)

I was never interested in the .44, and the .357 finally fell out of favor with me, too... I don't really need those when I have a .41. I even owned a .44SPC for a while, and while I saw the merits of the pistol itself (a Ruger Flattop) the .44SPC itself did nothing magical a .45 Colt wouldn't do.

Not really interested in big bore revolvers with barrels under 4" or over 6"... I think 5" is the sweet spot for practical big bores.

Never really interested in anything over .44MAG/.45 Colt... I don't like punishment. Following that logic, I also don't care for pistols like the J-frame in .357MAG.

Not interested in boutique pistols like the Korth or Rhino.

When it comes to any beautiful looking revolver, its hard to say what i'll "never" be interested in.
As of now, not interested in ever owning a Taurus or any other low brand gun.
Not interested in a 500 Magnum until they make more guns in that caliber.

But because my involvement in the weapons and firearms hobby, everything finds a way to interest me at some point. Like I wasn't interested in ARs until I discovered the usefulness of .300 Blackout. I wasn't interested in semi-auto calibers until I finally successfully make .357 Sig reloads. I wasn't interested in Sporting/hunting rifles until I discovered how LEET the 7mm Magnum is.
Heck for the longest time I've never been interested in .22s but now I'm thinking a 8-shot Smith & Wesson .22 would be really awesome.

The 32 HR mags and 327s are recommended by many in the advanced trainer world.

I'd be hard pressed to name a gun I'm not interested in. I'm not interested in the looks of some guns. So called assault rifles and shotguns. Not interested in plastic but if replaced with wood then fine. I guess I would have to say anything not wood, blued, ss or nickel - Not interested.

I LIKE that Charlie98! However, the truth is - if there were more people interested in 41 Mags, there would be more gun companies building them, and we 41 Mag lovers would have more to choose from.;)
