I am a bit wierd about having at least 3 guns in each caliber I own. I have an Auto-Ord M1 carbine right now, but what else could I get to meet my 3 guns requirement?

Ruger Blackhawk? I don't think they make them in .30 anymore?

Maybe a second M1 in a "tacticool" stock?

What else is there...

Thanks!

I don't think the new vaq would work

It ought to be pretty easy to find a Blackhawk in .30 carbine though.
Years ago there was something called the 'Enforcer'(if memory serves) that was a stockless, pistol grip, very short barreled carbine that was quite popular with bank robbers and a few other undesirables. I don't think it made the cut from one of our gun control measures sometime in the sixties.

Oops, I ment Blackhawk, my mistake Colt46. I don't own a single revolver so what do you expect :)

The carbine,Blackhawk and a Universal Enforcer pretty much covers the .30cal family. I think AMT had a longslide in .30cal several years ago.

get 3 different M-1 carbines

or retire the rule

remember, rules are made to be broken!

I'm thinking one M1 in classic WWII status, one M1 with my ultimak and red dot on a polymer/folding stock and a Ruger Blackhawk.

Don't tell me to retire rules that give me an excuse to buy guns please!!!

There was an Automag in .30 Carbine awhile back. I don't think they're still made but could be on the used gun market.
.30 Carbine in handguns are a bit much ... but if you have a bionic wrist, they could be fun!!!!

There are 3 for sale here:

Look at it this way. You want to buy 2 more guns, why limit yourself at all?

second, grab a copy of "cartridges of the world" and get working on a collection that has at least one gun that can fire any common caliber. Got something that can launch a 404 jeffries yet? or a 38 ballard extra long? Nope!

Think how many gems you pay pass on as you search for your 30 carbine revolver. Would you really let that marlin 1893 special lightweight in 25-36 marlin or that custom Cooper in 17/222 sitting at the pawnshop get away for a steal because your money is earmarked for a Raging 30?

Thanks for the tips guys. I'm younger, so I don't have TONS of guns, and I really don't care for exotic (expensive) calibers.

Perhaps later in life but for now, .22LR, 22WMR, 9mm, .40 S&W, .45ACP, .38/.357, .223, 7.62x39, .30-06, .308, .30 Carbine and 12 GA will do me.
