Got the following in my email this morning. Aside from the hyperbole, what is the truth behind this? Is this just a reiteration of the EO's from months ago? Excerpt below: https://www.nrailadonate.org/StopObamaNow/

You and I knew we were in for the fight of our lives this year.

Barack Obama swore he would go around Congress to unilaterally destroy our gun rights.

Now he made his BIG MOVE and I need your help to stop him!

As you read this, Barack Obama is putting in place anti-gun executive actions that strike at the very foundation of your Second Amendment freedom.

Obama Executive Edict #1 could force you to REGISTER with the federal government if you simply sell one or two firearms during the year.

This is nothing short of a big first step toward mandatory gun owner registration.

Obama Executive Edict #2 would arbitrarily STRIP away the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans who receive Social Security. No due process. No rule of law.

With the click of a button by some faceless bureaucrat in Washington, D.C., tens of thousands of Americans would automatically be classified as a "prohibited person" and barred from purchasing, owning, or possessing firearms.

Of course, once the petition is signed, you're redirected to a page asking for donations, again. Is it just me who is sick of these scare tactics? It seems like every email I get from the NRA is asking for money and they always open with dire warnings. I'm almost ready to just designate emails from the NRA as SPAM! :cuss:
