What's "HR"?
A lot of proposed anti gun legislation ends up in General or Legal depending upon the emphasis. Until the midterms there wasn't anything that was going to come out of the House or get through the Senate on the federal level so there wasn't much to talk about. The same Antis proposed the same tired old Anti bills that died. It made for a very, perhaps too, comfortable "They'll continue to whine and howl and they'll continue to be shut out." On the state level, the states that were subject to such change were discussed, but those that were solidly pro2A weren't going to move so that narrowed the topics.
NOW that the midterms are over and the House and Senate are split we'll see a lot more proposed federal legislation out of the House, but with the Senate more clearly pro 2A due to gains nothing is likely to go anywhere for a real fight.
The States are now where 2A issues will heat up and those discussions can get pretty heated. Some Governor's races shifted power from pro2A Governors to Anti and that's going to make for struggles for us. Narrow wins in FL and GA for pro 2A incumbents shouldn't make us complacent. The wins were narrow enough that there's no mandate for either Governor.
