Out of curiousity, what seems to have happened with the PSL rifle? The demand seems to be there, but they appear to to have disappeared from the market. Centerfire, for example, lists them as "Out of Stock and NOT available for backorders". Are they being imported any more?

I sure as heck am not selling mine.

I don't know why they aren't coming over here anymore. Kit builds are all I see anymore.

AFAIK...
The Romanians discontinued them, because the Romanian military adopted the7.62x51mm rifle B&T APR (bolt-action rifle) as a replacement to the 7.62x54mmR PSL.

Only thing left are parts kits.

glad i picked one up also from aime about a year ago, the cugir built psl. not sure if the romanian/cugir factory stoped producing them cause theres a psl that will be offered in .308 with the front gas block and front sight as one piece.

They are gone and have dried up, sold mine a few years ago for an M1 Garand, sold the M1 last summer.

Save yourself the headache and get a nice M1A for $1300 much better rifle than a PSL!

Interesting. Yeah, I'd have to say at the prices I've seen scouring Gunbroker and other sources, a used PSL doesn't seem to make economic sense any more, at least to me, even if it would round out my Combloc collection.

AFAIK, they are still issued in the Romanian military, they have not been phased out.

Bummer, but I can save the money for something equally unobtainable in my area - a reasonably priced 1911 that is actually in stock. :p But that's another thread for another time...

its unfortunate that it seems, either that they stoped importing the cugir psl in 54r or its takin this long to restock them, which justifies thier current price even used. if they started importing them again i beleive the price will drop, as they have other offerings on the 54r type ak platform. had a m1a yers back sold it and pretty much find my liking to the ak platform, heck even got one in .308 and enjoy it, theres allot of info on the psl 54r outhere in the end its up to you, my psl
