What Happened To Two Day Delivery From FedEx

I bought a new gun last week and had to have it shipped to my FFL. It's coming from Mi to Az. The seller sent it FedEx overnight but checking the tracking number it's going to take a week.

Do they no longer honor overnight or is this a one time good deal G.I.?

Well I'm in NJ & order a lot from a Georgia firm, and it never arrives on the day initially reported as delivery date. I get at least one, sometimes two "delayed" notices, with the last reported location being less than 30 miles from me, where it sits for a day or two.
