download their latest catalog. they only list firearms in the catalog, the website has the accessories.

Maybe because they have a constantly shifting stock of firearms, while their accessories are fairly constant.
They can't really sell guns online anyways. Besides, a lot of the gun buying public, gunshops especially, are still pretty low tech. With the catalogue everyone decalares open season on the same deals when it prints. Otherwise the website would have sold out of all their best stuff before the catalogue even ships, thus cutting out some volume dealers that dont use the internet.

My main problem is they do not allow walk in sales. I live within 50 miles of their place and still have to pay shipping AND sales tax. That kinda cuts into the savings a bit.

CDNN sells all of their guns over the phone. To view what they have for a specific month download their catalog as previously mentioned.
You do still have to have a dealer on your end to accept the transfer. The cool thing is once CDNN has the receiving FFL on file, they'll accept the order from the customer. They just call the dealer to confirm. Some places will only accept orders called in by the FFL holder.

They have excellent customer service . I ordered a scope mount from them and received it the very next day!
The down side to that is they won't even take your order if the FFL isn't on file. Most places I've dealt with will take your money but won't ship until they have the license and confirmation. CDNN won't - and it cost me a good deal because my dealer wasn't on file. By the time I found another dealer the next day, the last of the pistols I wanted sold!!

I did buy my Steyr M9 from them. They specialize in closeouts and trade ins. They have a pretty good reputation for delivering good quality trade-ins at a great price. They've got a pretty extensive program of Certified Pre-Owned Sigs that gets good reviews over on the Sig forum. And they seem to be a genuinely nice bunch of people to deal with!
They post their catalog on the web site -- it's a whopper PDF file. If you're interested in something, you should call them. The stock is limited and runs out (as I found out the hard way!) They've had some great deals, though (like the Steyrs).
If you're in the market for a firearm, it's worth checking them out.

I don't blame them. I wouldn't want the headache of selling guns to this state either. Just not worth the headahce when you have plenty of other states and buyers to deal with.
Actually, I wish all the guns and ammo manufactures would ban California, Massachusettes, etc. No sales to LEO's, no sales agencies of those states, etc. That would shake the trees. Unfortunately, the states are still buying enough that no one wants to let go of the money. For all the attempts of the legislature, gun sales in California are still a huge % of the sales nationwide.

Well, some gun mfgs will take a stand--isn't that the case with Barrett? (they banned the 50 cal in Kal, so they don't sell to anyone there?)

It's a pipe dream, but it still would be nice.
