What is number 1 gun you really like but DON'T have?

A really nice S&W "Hand Ejector First Model," aka the Triple Lock, in .44 Special. Say from around 1910 or so. Maybe a little taseful factory engraving and aged elephant ivory grips from the same era.

And have Rebecca Romijn-Stamos bring it over to my house!

I have the gun just not in the confuguration I would like, I would like to have my S&W Heavy Duty converted to 45 Colt with an auxillary cylinder in 45 ACP.

Barring that the number one handgun I would like to get is a BHP.

Others I would like are:
1. Ruger SuperBlackHawk Hunter in 45 Colt and in a Bisley configuration.
2. S&W 60 3" Adjustable sights w/Auxillary cylinder in 9mm
3. 3" Ruger SP101
4. 1st gen Glock 17

Well...these aren't my "fantasy picks," but they are the weapons I might pick up in the next couple of years, in order from most to least wanted:

1) 1911 = any good used Colt, Kimber, Springfield, etc. in the classic 5" length, preferably with 3-dot nitesights and a long trigger. I still miss my stolen Kimber 3". Now I think full length makes more sense than snubby.

2) A good J-frame snubby in .38 or .357. I'd prefer a model with a concealed hammer. .38 would be fine, .357 is just gravy. I have little urge to shoot .357 in a J-frame--YET! These guns carry very well for me.

3) A GP-100 in 6" with full length underlug. I'm gonna have to give my "loaner" to my stepdaughter one of these days, and I want one of my own. A nice shooter/handload development tool.

4) A CZ-75 in 9mm. These just feel very nice in my hand.

and....a good Buckmark or or DA Smith .22 -- can't really fit this into the above picks, I'm just keeping my eyes peeled for a good deal.

I'm sure this list won't "survive contact with the enemy," but I am going to try to keep my caliber list down to want I currently can handload (.38/.357,
9x19 and .45 ACP). Someday, I might add a heavy duty (.44 Magnum and up on the power scale) revolver that also fits in a nice carbine.

Maybe a Sig P220ST or P226 Railed.

But I already have the one I really really want, so I'm somewhat jaded :p

RE:

I'd like a Beretta 93R with all the fixins, a Marlin Camp Carbine in .357, HK UMP .45 ACP Carbine.....so many guns...so little $$$$$$$.....mack

..a 44 AUTOMAG..one that Id like to have but one than Im sure I'll never own...just wayyyyy out of my price range.

If I could have just 2 autos,1 would be an 44 automag and the other a 22.what couldnt I hunt with a 44 automag?

:D

A Singer 1911A1. That would go real nice with all the Singer sewing machines my wife has. But that will never happen.

So I'd be happy with a nice old Colt 1911A1 in mint condition. I've had plenty of chances over the years to buy one but there's always some other gun purchase getting in the way.

1. Colt Python 6 inch Blued
2. CZ Skorpion
3. Pre-WWII Colt 1911
4. Colt SSA
5. The S&W Model 27 I sold in 1978
6. Savage Model 99 rifle in .300 Savage (I know this is a handgun thread but it's MY wish list.)

At this point, my "want list" is down to only two guns. A .357 Magnum revolver-- which will either by a 686 or a GP-100, in 4", and a .45ACP. Right now I am quite fond of the USP Tactical but a plain old Compact to go with my Compact .40S&W might be a possibility instead...

Handguns? Let me check my list. . .
1) CZ 75B SA in .40 S&W
2) CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical (not yet available)
3) CZ 97B
4) Shrouded hammer snubby
5) Ruger Super Redhawk in .454 Cassul
6) Mataba Unica 6 in .357 Mag
7) EAA Witness Full Size 10mm in Wonder Finish, unless of course CZ comes 8) out with a double stack 10mm.
9) S&W 610
10) CZ 75 Standard IPSC, 40 S&W
11) CZ Champion
12) CZ 85 Combat
13) CZ 40-P
14) CZ 100B
15) CZ 75B Compact
16) Glock 20
17) Smith & Wesson 1006

That's the list as it stands this moment, it keeps changing :)

Hmmm let's see. The only one that I can think of currently that I don't have, but is on the (wow I really need one) list is a H&K P7M8. Just something about this one, is kicking myself for not purchasing one yet.

Sig Sauer P226. I have handled and shot those a couple of times and they are very nice guns.

HK P7M8

But I already filled the limit on handguns in my country.:-(((
