I like this bullet Missouri 125gr tcfp. But I get leading .Has anyone loaded this bullet and got good results? I loaded them in 38/spl and shoot them out of my GP100.The powder I used is Bullseye and HP38. If I can come up with a good load without leading I will be using this bullet alot. the hardness is 12.

The starting load for this bullet is 3.8 using HP38. should I up it to 4.0? I know of a person that uses Bullseye. Starting load is 2.9 and he loads at 2.3 and he says he gets no leading.Hard to me to believe slowing that bullett down that much and not get leading. Il loaded at 2.5 and got some leading. Bullett Missouri 125gr hardness12. I like HP38 so I will be working with it to get my load right with no or very little leading

I'd push it a little faster, I like W231 in .38. I'd try 4.5g (max is 4.8). Could need a little more bump to obturate.

I agree. The leading you're getting is probably because you are pushing the bullet too slowly. (not enough pressure) The hot gasses are getting along the side of the bullet and melting it causing leading in the barrel.
