hi all.

i was just wondering what is the verdict on the 24/7 pro? i bought one from a coworker a few weeks back to have a spare 45. i was just wondering have there been any problems with the 24/7 pro? how reliable are they?

I bought one last year from a friend who never shot it for $125.00. I figured for that price and considering the condition it was in, I could not go wrong. Mine is a .40 cal and I have never had one problem with it. I cut off the "ribber" grip and stippled the polymer. It reduced the size of the grip to fit my hands better and in my opinion made the grip even better.
I will attach a picture when I can get around a camera.

i picked mine up for $250. a coworker had bought it a month before and had never shot it. i've put 50 rounds through mine. i'm not happy with the accuracy ( could be user error as i still have to get used to the gun ) it shoots about 4 inches lower than where i aim at around 10 yards. it hasn't had any problems so far and seemed reliable and i haven't had any problems with the magazine that i've heard about.

I had one that I gifted to a friend. In about two years or so of being used it has never had any sort of malfunction. It takes a little to get used to because the trigger breaks so far back, its almost easier to pull with the first knuckle of your finger than with the pad of your finger. Otherwise good and reliable, no complaints of any kind on the functional aspects of the gun.

You might try reading up on "heinie sights," I had the same problem with a a pt-111 untill I understood that the sights used a different sight picture. Now I'm quite accurate with the gun.

the one i've got has the 3dot fixed sights. does taurus use a different sight picture as opposed to other manufacturers?

read a review about the oss models and teh author gave it the glock/xd torture test and he said it held up just fine except when it was covered in sand it hung up. they seem really nice and i wouldn't mine trying one out if they make a compact or sub compact version in the future.
