We paid $350 for our Charles Daly (FEG) Hi Power. It was on close out at Cabelas a couple years ago.

It is a great shooter, the only thing I don't like is the XS sights.

Unless it is a showpiece, don't pay extra for the Browning name.

:barf:

How many actual BHPs have you owned? The clones like the FEG/CD have their place but sorry your post reeks of inexperience with Browning/FN marked BHP. As this thread illustrates people get FN/Browning BHPs between $400 and $550 all the time which IMHO is worth the extra coin over the clones. To me the clones are a great value but only when you can get them in the sub $250 range.

I also noticed you were looking to trade off that CD. LOL

Note the FEG'S that SOG has are not true browning Hi Power Clones , they are a slight varient and are easily distinguished by the 1911 style slide release.

A true browning hi power clone will have a FN or Browning hi power style slide release.

FEG made (makes?) several variations of the BHP. The PJK-9HP you showed first is a true copy of the Browning HP. It has an extended safety and slide release but you can exchange them for factory FN parts like any other HP. (I know I have one and I've done it) They also make a P9M which has a different barrel design. The second one you showed is a new one one me.

Don't tell anyone but I think the PJK-9HP is a hidden gem of a firearm. Mine is beautifully blued and is a stellar shooter. I would buy them all day long before I would spend hundreds more for a actual FN made HP. BUT, I would still love the real deal.
