What is this... State MPF

"Texas residents must pay sales tax of 8.25% along with the new MPF states per new "Market Facilitator" Laws which include most states as of April 2021."
I saw this on a gun auction on GB.
From what I can find this has to do with Ag commodities. Why would this be added onto the end of a successful bid?
i've won some bids this year and haven't had to pay a MPF, although I think the seller meant MFP (market facilitation program).

Because GunBroker figured out they can collect the taxes and charge you a fee for processing it for your convenience.
It will show up on your invoice from GunBroker in case the FFL tries to collect the taxes again
