What is your EDC?

I remember a friend of mine who was working for the Phil Army. He carries a .357 mag revolver and one fragmentation grenade if confronted by overwhelming force. THis was his standard carry .

Depending on what I can conceal, in order of preference:
30S
27
XDS .45, although I've been having feeding problems which i hope have been corrected. I won't carry it until I'm sure it's functioning properly.
P938
642

When you say EDC are you talking about my preferred carry gun and holster or are asking about all the gadgets people like to show off and claim they carry every single day everywhere they go? You know, compass, four way lug wrench, machete, arc welder, etc. tucked into a tactical fanny pack. A guy can never be too careful.

Five days a week I work in a non-permissive workplace. On those days, my .40 caliber Springfield XDm Compact and a spare extended magazine ride in the console of my truck. I keep a spare carry belt and Galco Avenger holster in the truck just in case but I don’t holster up while I drive to and from work. Inside the office I carry a Kershaw Cryo folding knife which is technically against company policy, work and personal keys on separate key rings, a Streamlight Nano flashlight on my personal key ring, my wallet and a cell phone as it came from the factory with zero apps added. All of my tools, gadgets and goodies are in the truck and stay in the truck.

When I am not dressed in business attire I carry a Sig 239 in a Galco Avenger holster on a purpose built carry belt from a company called Universal Holsters. I love their belts but am not crazy about their concealment holsters. I always carry at least one spare 8 round magazine. Sometimes the spare mag is in a Don Hume belt clip mag pouch and sometimes I wear a Galco double mag holster and carry two spare magazines. In addition to the Sig and Galco I always have the Kershaw, keys, wallet and cell phone. I keep a Olight M10 Maverick flashlight in the truck and will drop it in my pocket when I go into a windowless venue like a movie theater or when evening is approaching.

As I said, I keep a certain amount of gadgets and goodies in the truck but I don’t strap them on and carry them around with me just in case I find myself in water deeper than I am tall.

Glock 26 with either a +0 or +2 pinky extension, IWB behind the hip, usually with a spare G19 magazine.

With cooler weather approaching that will often switch to a Glock 19 instead, and occasionally a Glock 21.

Also a small-ish can of Sabre OC, a 2xCR123 light, Spyderco Military, cell phone/wallet/keyring (with single CR123 light on keyring)

Sig P239, Byrd Crossbill knife, Preon P2 pen light, rogue front pocket wallet and occasionally a bic lighter.

If I have a coat or am open carrying swap the Sig for a gov't 1911 of some variety.

There are times when I need deep concealment (passing through certain states, carrying in "certain places"). In that case I go with my .38 LCR in an IWB 'deep concealment' holster w/ undershirt and baggy overshirt.

Sometimes I make a quick trip to the store and don't care so much, .38 LCR goes in the nemesis and into my front pocket.

Nights, weekends, extended time away from home I carry my Glock 26 Gen 4 with a 12 rd magazine IWB.

I have an IWB holster on order for my 3" Ruger SP101 which I will carry with .357 125gr speer gold dots, probably winter carry.

I've only been carrying for six months so I'm still defining my style. One thing I know for sure, the .38 LCR is the most versatile option I have, I carry it 90% of the time and consider it the most important piece of my carry system. I did install boot grips on it which I believe makes it much more concealable.

Either my 9mm xdsc or .45acp Glock 30. I use crossbreed supertuck and they're both very comfortable for toting all day.

I've carried a .38 snub for pretty much the whole time I have been carrying. Most recently a 642.

I have a 3" SP-101 that I carry about 5% of the time, but it has the same .38 +P and 158-grain SWC mix that the .38s do so it's effectively the same thing.

I have always felt comfortable with this. Nice to be able to dial things up with the SP-101 for the woods or other rougher territory if I want.

Summer, under a loose shirt: SIG P238 in a DeSantis IWB holster.
Winter, under sweatshirts and a jacket: M1911 in an M7 holster.
Always in right pocket: Gerber assisted-opening folder.

Here's how it is carried when it's warm out.
It's actually very comfortable to carry this way. Of course it is only useful when I'm at my desk. If I were accosted while on my feet, my chances of getting to it in time would be slim.

I switch between a RIA Tactical 1911 in an Old Faithful hybrid holster and Kel Tec PF9 in a Remora Holster on my hip or truck console.
Also on my belt is a AAA Maglight and pliers. Riding in my pockets is a Sog folder, Chap Stick, foamy ear plugs, Big Skinny wallet, antiquated smart phone and keys.

Lately, most days I carry my Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 Special. Otherwise I generally have my S&W 438 in my pocket.

Depending on clothing it'll usually be a Glock 30S, 21, or Ruger LCR .38 +P: One spare reload for any of em. Glocks in either a Crossbreed or Wild Bill concealment, Ruger in a DeSanti Nemesis (Pocket).

Either a Benchmade or Spiderco folder (can't recall the exact models), Streamlight MicroStream, Cell phone, wallet, keys.

If I'm not feeling .45ish it'll be a Glock 23, or maybe a 19. Those I carry 2 spare mags, since they are easier to conceal. Both can go in the same Wild Bill leather the 30S usually rides in.

If I'm feeling I need some steel I'll carry either a 5" Kimber Warrior in a MTAC or BHP in a Milt Sparks Summer Special 2.

That covers it, I think.

Taurus 709 slim in Tagua leather IWB holster
Streamlight Pro Tac 1AA
Schrade Old Timer knife
Leatherman Wingman multi tool
Pipe, tobacco, lighter and mustache wax
Wallet, work keys, car keys, phone and other miscellaneous sundries.

Glock19 Gen4, or Gen 3 RTF, ground down with dremel! Truglo sights, spare G17 Magazine, SUREFIRE very bright Flash Light. All 3 items in suitably altered plastic holders from Glock. Covered by Florida Shirt, or Sweater when it gets cool. Both G19s 5lb trigger weight.

Benchmade access lock folder, 4" non serrated blade. McHenry & Williams design. Quickest open and close, one handed folder made.

Leatherman, baby! Use this more than anything. Cold Steel Survival Rescue push blade, very light, 3" double edge thin blade. Both in right side pocket.

Two ear plugs in pants pocket. IPhone-Blue Ant, Blue Tooth in left ear.
Want 911? press button, say "Police" Hands free.

Keys, car key, alarm remote, on D Ring, clipped to wide belt loop, 511 pants. Locking Gas cap key, on single key ring in left side pocket, and ear plugs.

Remember when 511 pants were a dead give away? Now everybody wears them!

When carrying OWB I switch off between my M&P Shield 9mm in a CompTac paddle and my CZ Rami BD 9mm in a TT Gunleather Hi-Rise pancake. For pocket I carry a Kahr P380 in a DeSantis Nemesis.

Carry percentage is probably like:

P380 = 60%
Shield = 10%
CZ = 30%

BTW Nomi Wasp, what the heck is a "Pocket Ninja"?
