I like Spyderco knives, you might like these also.

Just picked this up for the low price of free... I've had a PM2 on my list for years and have had tons of spydercos and love quite a few of them, but I didn't think I was crazy about the comp lock mechanism on the PM2 but after having it and using it a few days it's really growing on me.

My buddy gave it to me because he got a few Spyderco blems for next to nothing..... There is only one lil nick in the DLC around the spyder hole, that's it.... IMG_20211203_092416.jpg

Just found this for sale, quite the price though. I believe there are a few gents here who praised these, can't find the thread where they were mentioned though.

W4 steel hand forged 13" distal tapered full tang dagger . Damascus fittings and Amboyna Burl handle . Came with a nice slip type belt sheath with stud. He was working for his masters Blade certification and used it for his submitted work and got it ! I wanted an asymmetrical handle and he delivered ! I have quite a few of his blades from the earliest thru this one and beyond. I consider this knife my grail knife !

Some of the Stephan Fowler Knives I have . The Green Handled Bowie is the earliest I have of his.,I think. The recurved chopper Camp knife with Brutda Forge spine and a Buckeye Burl/ flute grade ebony handle .the latest. I have a couple small blades from him too , Including weird Skighn Dhus .

I am not by nature a jealous man, but sometimes your posts arise just a twinge of it. Love that Bowie!

More like a robbery. Discontinued Pentagons go for $300 (which is crazy money that people pay now they're discontinued).
I know, discontinued knives are one of those few things that can fetch 10x-20x their original purchase price. Used to be able to get a Benchmade 42 for like $80. Now if they're mint they're $1000-$1200+++

But I wouldn't ever pay that kind of money for a SOG. Not even sure what the steel is but I'm sure it's nothing special and it ain't some great quality knife

I think that nick is to distinguish it as a blem. If that’s all you notice being “wrong”, you’re in business! Enjoy!

Grail arrived, my knife collecting is now done.

Vehement Knives Wasp (Full custom, not a standard custom model, to the best of my knowledge there are only two). 7" blade of satin "Tigerlypse" finish CPM154, nickel silver guard, bone paper micarta over red liners with mosaic pins. Skinbender leather sheath, black with red thread.

@Madcap_Magician wow, that is an amazing piece. So far, as far as folders go besides a RHK 4" XM24 and 3.5" XM Slicer there aren't but a few folders on my Grail knife list but as far as fixed blades go, that's another story. There are a few RHK, CRK, BRK and Busse fixed blade knives I'd really like to get my hands on.

My primary interest is firearms but I will never lose my affinity for a good quality blade. I probably have higher standards for knives and edged weapons than I do for firearms :D

Here's a few production balisongs, the one in the middle is an Alpha Beast Infinity that was given some extra love and modifications by the man who got the ball rolling and built the first few prototypes for BRS (Matt Cook) and I had the privilege of talking to him daily for a few weeks while he worked on my AB and gave me a "professional discount and bonus custom made titanium pocket clip...

This was one. I lucked into this Riverside Loveless Stag Drop Point Hunter today for half of what it was worth. A grail knife in any collector's collection and at a steal.

I no longer care. My best dog ever had to be put down and what is relevant has suddenly changed.

@Valkman mentioned the drop point hunter on pg.2. I couldn't believe the tag but if you got it ½ price that sounds like a good score. Love the blade.

Sorry about your pup, I put my 12 year old pit down coming up on a year next month, he was my boy. Still hurts, feels like it was just yesterday. My condolences.
