What Is Your Most Expensive Gun?

I am kind of cheap so I would say my most expensive gun is probably my Kimber Pro carry II in stainless. I believe it was in the $700 range.

i bought , a Parker Hale post ww2 delux ultralite in 308 , that upon research is not quite the type on the books. The bbl is actually marked "j.c. penny's" , It is very beautiful, the wood is outstanding, the bluing is like a mirror, and I "stole" it on a consignment buy for 300.

A custom match grade AR15 with a 24" fluted SS barell on a flat top upper and a Mega lower that I built with a National Match 2 stage trigger came out to about $2200. Also, an FN FAL I recently built from an Imbel kit on a DSA receiver came out to around $1400 total. Also, The next closest is my 4" S&W 500 which ran me around $975.

Custom 50bmg (UltraMag50).

Complete rifle with scope and all ran me about $3,000

Most expensive that I ever bought - Bushmaster AR15...about $800ish

Most expensive that I still currently own - Browning High Power.....about $675ish

The most expensive in terms of sticker price was this Kimber Raptor II:

It was also the least expensive, in that I got it essentially for free :D

I spent about $1400.00 for a Springfield M1A "Loaded" model. Just like this one.

Mine cost about $1600, but then I'm in CA where most everything is more expensive. :(

I have yet to pay $400 for a firearm. Paid $720, though, for two, recently.

Mine would be my Springfield M1A loaded, model #9222. List at $1700 or somewhere in that neighborhood (well, that's at least what one dealer in town sells them for) Bought mine, slightly used for $1200

Is that part price or total cost?

If it is total cost: '94 Winchester chambered for .44Mag,
1. Price of gun 1991- $315.63 (brand new)
2. Cost to use 1992- $6132.00

Total: $ 6447.32

Cost includes: Elk hunt in the Bitterroot, transportation to get rifle there and back, licenses, kids transportation, cost to get the quartered Elk back.

PS: This rifle has also taken, 13 Whitetail in Wisconsin and a Black Bear in Quebec.

If it is price: A Custom Kimber in .300 Win Mag w/4X12-32 Leupold VXIII scope,

Select-fire FNC with registered sear. Around $8000, sales tax sucks.

Springfield Mil-Spec 1911A1, at about $570. I also have a CZ P-01, which run in the $450-500 range; on the other hand, I snagged it for $275...
