I carry a .357 Ruger SP101, or GP100, every day.
When I have to dress up, I carry a Ruger LCR, .38 special

xd 9 of some sort for me!

Blown6L, nice setup! the holster caught my eye when I reached for a tissue to wipe the drool off my iPad after seeing that revolver! Who is the holster company and the model? Do you like the high ride?

As an observation... I put this same poll on the Ruger Forum, and since Sept 25th almost have 200 votes. This forum is way ahead at over 270 if just a couple of days. I'm impressed.

BTW... never thought about the 10mm (guess you could select the 40 S&W). I did try to edit the poll, but could not find a way.

Well . . . my "always" (always on me) handgun is a S&W J-frame in .38 Special so this would be the one I'd need to list "fer shure."

It is amply backed up with a second, larger handgun when I can do so, in one of several calibers:

.45ACP (revolver, full size 1911 type autos and/or a lightweight officer's type)
.357 Magnum
.38 Special
9mm

Frankly, they are all "perfect" for the job . . . and none are "perfect" for the job in every instance.

I just got my LTC yesterday. (it was nice to be able to take my ice-cold gun out of its case and warm it up on the defroster vent on the way to the range today, in plain view and everything.) Will probably start carrying my P3AT, but didn't vote for .380 in the poll because it's more of a BUG. It would be an adequate primary weapon (barely) if I practice with it enough, but I'm not practiced with it and it's not fun to shoot.

When I find the right holster and figure out how to wear it, I'll probably carry the 9mm Mak.

Tons of guns to carry from custom 1911's, Glocks, Kahr's and even a few full sized revolvers, but when I leave the house 90% of the time it is a S&W or Colt snubbie. At least before I moved to the republic of Maryland last year.
